As a Medical Director for Enjoin, Dr. Senor provides guidance and support for our CDI Quality Initiatives and MS-DRG Assurance programs. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has served as a Hospitalist and Physician Advisor for a large metropolitan healthcare system in North Carolina. In his current role with Enjoin, he assists in DRG management for clients and is the lead physician for the Population Heath CDI service line.
Since 2016, Dr. Senor has helped educate clinical providers, coders and CDI specialists from across the country on proper risk adjustment capture. He also provides education and training to support client understanding of quality and DRG management.
While serving as the Physician Advisor for the NC health system, his role expanded to include Ambulatory Physician Advisor to assist in developing the outpatient CDI program across the health system to focus on capture of conditions impacting all risk-adjusted measures across the spectrum of care. In this role, he assisted in the development of a pre-visit planning process. He provided education to improve ambulatory CDI staff proficiency in clinical indicator recognition for proposed HCC diagnoses.
Dr. Senor is a frequent speaker at national and state-level AHIMA and ACDIS conferences. He is ACLS certified and obtained his CCDS and the Certified Risk Coder (CRC) credentials in 2018. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Scholastic Medical Society and, in 2016, he was honored with the Outstanding Educator Award from MAHEC, Family Practice Residents.
